Good Faith Estimate

Under the Congressional No Surprises Act, health care providers must provide a Good Faith estimate to patients who don’t have insurance or are not using insurance.

Because FDL Dermatology uses a fee-based model and doesn’t accept any medical insurance, we are happy to provide every patient with a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least one business day before you schedule a procedure or visit with our office. Please note, our prices are listed on our website for your convenience.

Good Faith Estimates explain the total expected cost of non-emergency items or services, including medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
